Better Man - Thomas Barsoe
hey yo mind the language! i wrote this yesterday so maybe be in present tense! haha.
Yo im back from camp! Due to much complains from the thailand post i made, saying it was unreadable coz it was like 2000 plus words, i shall blog only a little details now. Hahhahaa.
DAY ONE!
Went to sss without any food lah! Cuz i woke up at 11 and we were supposed to meet at 11. Lols. I played captain’s ball for northeast! But lost. Lol. Chipped my toe nail too. And it’s like still on my toe even today jacob also say gross so im gonna like go cut later. Hahah.
Then we went to check out our sleeping place – CCSS school hall! Dots. And the shower was freaking cold. Hahah. Had teaching and then we slacked around and bought cup noodles to eat!
DAY TWO!
Woke up really early and got a cold bath to wake me up. Lol. Then went to the teaching in morning. Everybody ADD lah cuz in the morning all sleepy. Haha.
Then there was workshops like: fashion tips, managing events, raising EQ, etc. Cuz pete never help me sign up then i can go anyone i want. Lol. Then me and zhi cai decided to go for the singing one. Haha. Whoo i know how to use my diagphram to breathe and sing! Hahaha.
Then had free time which was spoiled by rain. Lol. Had another teaching and then nothing liao. Lol. Oh ya altar call too emo then sing All In You(hope bangkok) then i cried. Lols.
DAY THREE!
Woke up later a little cuz i didnt want to bathe :D just rinsed. Haha. Then had a teaching and went for lunch.
Then we had our second games of the camp! Balls frenzy! Haha. Anyhow shoot. It was then i realised this brother in hope called scott was eugene tan(primary school friend) de friend. Haha. How lame. Lol.
Then we had teaching by pastor simon eng! Then went for dinner and then had 10TH ANNIVERSARY! Pity that northeast didnt win. West de performance made me tear eh. So touching. Lol. But the storyline’s a little bit gay. Haha.
Had part two of pastor simon eng’s teaching. Everyone was dead liao lah. I told mervin i had two words. “cramps” and “bladder”. Explains it all. Hahaha. But i got strive on till the end and take notes hor. Hahah.
Then it was RESONANCE! Last-day-of-camp-concert as i call it. Haha. It was so high during praise and so spiritual(/emo!) during worship. Irritating song called “family of god” or something. Made me cry and cry and cry. And that jonn even worse come hug me and it did not help at all with the tears. Lol. I was so emo that for the following worship songs i cried an cried and cried. Tears dropping down is really itching and irritating lah. Haha.
Then i went to have a short talk with pete. Haha. And went to play volleyball with this north guy called yong en. Haha. Promised. At first only got two of us then very sian we go some secluded corner to play.
Thank you god for inviting ants into my shoebag telling me it was time to wash the sweet things out of my shoebag. Thank you lord even more to let me put my shoebag on my shoulder not knowing. Lols. Felt like needles lah! Caa caa caa caa caa. Ouch man! Yong en see also feel pain for me ah. It was a swarm on my shirt, neck and back. Then we went to clear the ants. Hahas. So malu lah. Lols. Stupid ants.
Then we were seriously sian diao cuz hall got place play but only two maluuuu. Then god blessed us with kim and her group to play. And zhicai also decided to play. Then the group got so many till it was 15 people lah. Cg strength like that then hoseh liao. Hahah. Played overnight volleyball and it was fun lah. Ended at 7.45am. haha.
DAY FOUR!
Went back to bathe. Then went to eat breakfast. DISASTER! I just sat there eating baked beans and dozing off. I sleep sleep then my spoon droop down and smash the beans at my hotdog bun. Lol. Then my hotdog bun ea halfway sleep. Open eyes then yeong dend keith they all staring and laughing. Happen about four times lah! Then the highlight came. Mervin took a lot of drinks then knock over my apple juice. Then it hit my pants then i woke up saying “im awake! Im awake!”. Then one second... two second... three second... and then i scream ahh! And stood up. By then i already soaking wet pants of apple juice liao. Then i didnt seem irritated and said i go change and walked off. Lol! Half-asleep! Everyone thought i was really pissed but i was just semi- conscious. Haha.
Took lots of pics at end camp! Hahas. Then went to eat lunch with nea. Then i was late for my movie and then had to go with my barang barang. Lol. And i slept through half the movie lols.
Okay summarising camp, it was a really meaningful and fantabulous camp for me. I am really grateful for it and i will apply all that i have learnt. Thank you camp committee!
THIS IS WRITTEN FOR TODAY!
i went to this match then in the end never play cuz no net! lol. stupid. then me and randy and deyuan ate lunch at Velocity! and then we went toa payoh to "buy stuff" in popular at toa payoh then in the end only i buy. lol. so jonn and randy wasted trip.
but we went to this AIDS convention or smth at tp. damn cool! naomi was the person there. not that she has Aids or smth she's just hosting. it's like a trail. haha. and random give you one person's life out of three. they got beatrice. i got sremom. then we were supposed to like "check up" at this "clinic" then the person will chop you positive or not positive of aids. lol. they got "-" i got "+" stupid sremom. hahaha.
i got a shirt out of it because i answered the survey! quite nice. hahas.
